Chronological age and adjusted age

Chronological age is the time between birth and the administration date. For eligible premature children, adjusted age subtracts the number of premature weeks from chronological age. Official ASQ guidance applies this adjustment when a child is at least three weeks premature and younger than two years chronological age.
